Let some of our clients tell you what it is that makes the service we provide so special and comprehensive.
The Ocean Liner Society – Member Cruises
For the past two years, OceanEvents has been the premier cruise line consultant for The Ocean Liner Society, organising regular group cruises for its members, each comprising of up to forty passengers. Chairman William Mayes commented:
‘We have had two very successful cruises arranged for our members and are discussing two more for 2008. OceanEvents have always been highly professional, knowledgeable and helpful, and managed to secure a great number of extras and special privileges even when dealing with an operator that didn't sell to an English-speaking market. The Ocean Liner Society is pleased to continue to engage OceanEvents as its preferred cruise organiser.’
Maritime Books – A Specialist Cruise
This was a complex tour for forty people, in cruise ferries that travelled to Norway, Sweden, Germany and Poland over two weeks. OceanEvents organised the entire trip plus coach travel, hotels and flights. Maritime Books’ Managing Director, Mike Critchley, remarked:
‘OceanEvents went to a lot of trouble to suggest and then book a totally bespoke travel itinerary for our specialist group on a specialist tour. Nothing as simple as a package tour. Something no high street travel agent would, I suspect, even want to consider. They provided a great service both before and during the holiday.’
Christian Vision for Men – On Board Conferences
In a proposal outlined for the Christian Vision for Men 2007 conference OceanEvents planned the charter of Brittany Ferries’ cruise ferry MV Bretagne, travelling to St Malo. The proposal led to an advance booking for 2008. Rob Dean, Operations Director of Christian Vision for Men, commented:
‘CVM has been most impressed with the professionalism and attention given by OceanEvents in preparing for our Annual Conference at sea in 2008.’
