Meet the Senior Partners
Larry Sylvestre
Larry’s extensive, long-term knowledge of cruising and the sea is unique. He trained as a Ship’s Officer, joining P&O’s passenger division to cruise almost everywhere in the world. He spent eight years at sea with the company, resulting in invaluable long-term contacts, insights and privileges within the industry that can now be placed at every client’s disposal.
Larry, who has been a self-employed Cruise Consultant for many years, has embarked on countless private cruises himself, and is an acknowledged expert on ships and the sea.
Brian Wick
In 1989, Brian founded Wickers World Travel, offering unique and bespoke worldwide holiday experiences to clients across the globe. Almost two decades on, Wickers World Travel has joined OceanEvents to provide a comprehensive service, with Brian bringing first-hand knowledge of handling international event organisation and travel.
Brian’s extensive experience in the corporate and charter market (including private charters of the Orient Express and Concorde), both at home and abroad, makes him an expert in all aspects of the travel industry.
Julian Tudsbery
Julian is a chartered accountant by trade, and has worked in senior management roles in several large private and public companies. More recently he set up a specialist cruise travel agency, Dream Cruise, with a view to offering clients the tailor-made service that he felt was lacking from most travel agencies. Several years later Dream Cruise teamed up with The Ocean Liner Cruising Consultancy, a collaboration that would lead to the beginnings of OceanEvents.
Julian is very widely travelled, is personally acquainted with more than 30 different cruise ships, and offers OceanEvents an indispensable understanding of large multi-national company’s requirements.
